Craner & Kirkman, the rapidly growing e-commerce prep and logistics provider, has announced its relocation to a larger headquarters at Soloman Park in Ilkeston. The move follows a major business milestone — reaching over £500,000 in turnover within three years, under the direction of founder Tom Singleton.
A former Account Director at Birmingham-based agency Inspired Thinking Group (ITG), Singleton left the agency world to build his own venture. What began as a modest side hustle has grown into a vital logistics solution for online sellers on platforms including Amazon, eBay, TikTok Shop, Etsy, and Shopify.
A Bigger Space for Bigger Ambitions
The new site more than doubles the company’s operational footprint, positioning Craner & Kirkman to handle increased order volumes from both UK and European merchants. With fast turnaround times, responsive customer support, and a technology-first approach, the team is committed to providing seamless service for online retailers.
“We’ve built this business from the ground up — no outside funding, just good service and word of mouth,” said Singleton. “Moving into our new HQ gives us room to grow, but it also lets us keep raising the bar for e-commerce logistics.”
CK Logistics: Speed and Control in Every Delivery
A major differentiator for the business is its dedicated transport division, CK Logistics. Unlike many competitors who depend on external carriers, Craner & Kirkman runs its own fleet to maintain control over delivery timelines to Amazon Fulfilment Centres.
“Most prep centres rely on third-party hauliers — we don’t,” Singleton added. “Our vans. Our drivers. Our timing. It means fewer delays, more control, and a better experience for our clients.”
