Hope Spring eCard, a Hereford-based charity, has announced the launch of a new set of ecards designed for people of the Christian faith. The announcement, made on Tuesday, July 1st on the charity’s website, introduces the new ecards which are available for free or for a donation.
The new ecard range includes two categories; Christian birthday ecards and Christian Christmas ecards. These designs were created by Seun Olonade, the platform manager, and Wendy Samuel, a volunteer greetings card designer and devout Christian.
In the announcement, Seun Olonade stated, “I first started thinking about the Christian ecard range last Christmas, when we were designing Christmas ecards. I observed that none of our designs uses the word God or Jesus, which are important to Christmas, if you are to send meaningful Christmas greetings, after all, Christmas is the celebration of Jesus’s birth.”
The Christian birthday ecard category currently has 20 designs, while the Christian Christmas category has 10 designs. However, the platform plans to add a minimum of 50 more Christian-themed Christmas cards in time for Christmas 2025.
Hope Spring eCard platform is a successful fundraiser for Hope Spring water charity, having been launched five years ago and adding hundreds of new ecards each year. More information about the charity can be found on their website and social media pages.
