The organization known as Platform Global 2025 has recently made an announcement regarding their upcoming Energy Transition Forum.

The Energy Transition Forum at Platform Global 2025, an annual conference for investors and leaders in the data centre industry, has been announced to take place on Tuesday 15 July, 2025. The event will be held at the prestigious Palais des Congrès in Antibes/Juan-les-Pins.

Now in its 4th year, Platform Global is known for its high-end networking opportunities and curated content provided by a distinguished panel of speakers. With a focus on risk, finance, investment, real estate, and the energy transition, this conference outperforms any other data centre event in Europe, with 69% of C-level delegates in attendance in 2024. Attendees also have the opportunity to experience the beautiful backdrop of the Mediterranean in the serene resort town of Antibes.

The forum will address two major themes in the energy industry:

1. Investment and Powering The Short Haul to 2030

The growth of data centres and the adoption of AI rely heavily on the availability of electric power. With the current grid infrastructure in the US and Europe unable to support the rapid growth, the industry will need to identify interim energy solutions before the arrival of abundant and carbon-free resources.

2. Longer Term Energy Prospects

By 2050, power generation will need to more than triple to meet the growing demands of a rapidly digitalizing global economy. Energy companies will need to reimagine and rebuild their stack to meet this demand, with net new, robust commercial demand being a key driver. This could potentially lead to the exploration and adoption of several viable alternative technologies, including nuclear, solar, and next-generation battery solutions.

The forum will bring together investors in energy transition and industry experts for a unique conversation on how to enable the transition to a decarbonised economy. Sustainability-focused considerations will also be high on the agenda for data centre financing.

Platform Global is open for registration to investors, leaders of data centre organizations, and companies engaged in the industry. Interested individuals can register for the event at www.digital-infrastructure.com/global/registration.
