The UK estate agent is currently spreading happiness among individuals, although it is unfortunate that he is not a real person.

Local Estate Agent Becomes Unlikely Hero in Successful Time Travel Book Series

Thursday 17 July, 2025 – In a world where estate agents are often met with disdain, one local agent is breaking the mold with his time-traveling adventures. Eric Meek, the star of The Time-Travelling Estate Agent series, has captured the hearts of readers across the United Kingdom with his unconventional approach to selling houses.

Written by former journalist Dale Bradford, the first book in the series was published in November 2024 and has since become a consistent bestseller. The recently released sequel, The Time-Travelling Estate Agent 2, has also been climbing the charts and has received rave reviews from readers.

According to Bradford, the success of the series is a testament to Eric’s likability as a character. “The Time-Travelling Estate Agent has certainly found an audience,” he said. “I’ve been delighted to read so many positive reviews. Eric has proven to be a very popular character and following the recent BBC Panorama broadcast, and earlier studies showing estate agents as one of the most complained about professions in the UK, he might even be helping to improve the public’s view of the profession.”

The series follows the adventures of Eric Meek, a local estate agent in Cwmbran, South Wales, who discovers a hole in space-time while valuing a property. The portal allows him to travel back in time to the day that he believes defined his future, giving him a chance to right the wrongs of the past. With a blend of sci-fi, murder mystery, and romance, the series has been described as a mix of Groundhog Day and 50 First Dates.

Both books in the series are currently available in ebook, paperback, and hardback formats, and are free to read on Kindle Unlimited. The final part of the trilogy is set to be published in early 2026.
