Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG, a leading technology company with 175 years of innovation, has announced its entry into the defense industry with a strategic partnership with VINCORION Advanced Systems GmbH. The partnership aims to strengthen industrial performance and security of supply in the defense sector through a cooperation spanning several years.
The memorandum of understanding (MOU) between HEIDELBERG and VINCORION will see the former move into the defense market by developing, industrializing, and building power control and distribution systems for VINCORION. This partnership will help boost technological sovereignty and safeguard domestic value chains.
VINCORION, with over 60 years of experience in developing and manufacturing power systems for civilian and military applications, is an established technology leader for critical systems. The company also specializes in cutting-edge technology, including rescue hoists for helicopters.
