In a major step towards technological innovation, BeammWave and Nitto Denko have announced a Joint Development Agreement to enhance their collaboration in high-frequency communications. The partnership aims to enable high-performance wireless connectivity with low power consumption at a competitive cost.
Representatives from both companies have expressed their excitement about the partnership and their shared ambition to promote the implementation of real world high-frequency communication technologies, particularly in mmWave applications.
According to the agreement, Nitto and BeammWave will not only engage in technical collaboration, but also conduct joint marketing activities to promote the adoption of high-frequency communication. This will be achieved through the combination of Nitto’s Low Dk materials expertise and BeammWave’s advanced antenna knowledge and Digital Beamforming technology.
The companies will initially target smartphone antenna modules, with the goal of launching products in the market. Prototype development is already underway and the signing of this agreement is a significant step towards further technological innovation. The companies also plan to showcase their prototypes and engage with potential customers to contribute to the wider adoption of high-frequency communication.
