The city of Mannheim, Germany will be celebrating a milestone this year as the renowned classic car market, Veterama, marks its 50th anniversary. From October 10 to 12, 2025, the Maimarkt grounds will be transformed into an Eldorado for classic car enthusiasts from all over Europe.
What started as a small exchange market in 1975 with only 30 dealers, founded by Winfried A. Seidel and Walter Metz, has now become a legendary market spectacle with over 4,000 exhibitors. The event has grown in popularity and size over the years, becoming a must-visit for classic car lovers.
The event boasts of an extensive 260,000 m² outdoor space and an additional 15,000 m² of hall space where visitors can browse and purchase complete vehicles, spare parts, and accessories. The market also features a large vehicle marketplace with over 500 complete vehicles on offer, catering to all eras and price ranges.
This year, in response to customer requests, Veterama is offering an early bird ticket which is valid for Friday, a premium ticket for Friday to Sunday, and day tickets for Saturday and Sunday. Tickets can be purchased online, with early birds enjoying a quicker entry at the gate.
A new addition to the event is the Veterama Show Arena, where visitors can see rare and legendary models that would make any classic or modern classic car fan’s heart skip a beat. The arena promises to be a show of glamour, history, and excitement. Limited free parking spaces are still available for reservation.
