London, 7 October 2025 – The highly anticipated Young Generation Art Award, presented by Degussa Goldhandel in partnership with Monopol art magazine, is now in its second year. After receiving an impressive 400 submissions from artists aged 35 and under, the selection process has concluded and five finalists have been chosen to compete for the coveted Young Generation Art Award 2026.

The shortlist will be officially announced on October 15, 2025 at the opening reception of Frieze London. As a partner of this prestigious global art fair, taking place from October 15-18, 2025, Degussa is showcasing its long-standing commitment to the art world through its involvement. The event will also include a special exhibition honoring the first recipient of the award, Thuy Tien Nguyen, who was awarded the prize in 2025.
