Fizyr, a leading provider of cutting-edge vision AI technology, has announced that it will be hosting its highly anticipated second annual Fizyr Automation & Robotics Conference. The event will take place on Thursday, October 23 at the company’s headquarters in Delft, Netherlands.
The conference will showcase the latest industry insights on automation and vision, as well as live demonstrations of advanced automation cells from Fizyr’s key partners in various industries such as logistics, food processing, and detection. Attendees will also have the opportunity to tour the Fizyr Vision Facility, which includes the Fizyr Camera Lab & Engineering Center where the company’s team designs, tests, and certifies cameras, robotics, and gripper components.
“After the success of our 2024 Robotics & Automation Conference, we knew we had to make it an annual event to showcase the incredible innovation transforming robotic automation,” said Ken Fleming, CEO of Fizyr. “This year’s live demonstrations will feature deployed and proven solutions, highlighting how Fizyr’s advanced vision AI empowers companies to automate even their most complex tasks.”
The 2025 Fizyr Robotics & Automation Conference will feature a range of live demonstrations, including:
– Camera Experience: A demonstration of Fizyr’s process of integrating, testing, and validating industrial cameras used in automation and detection, as well as the optimal configurations for each use case. This will feature 3D and 2D cameras from top brands such as Photoneo, Zivid, and Basler.
– Gripper Experience: An overview of how Fizyr’s system integrates with end effectors, showcasing the wide variety of grippers that can be used with Fizyr’s vision AI. This will also demonstrate how the AI informs major mechanical decisions in automation, such as the best object to pick in a group and how to approach the grasp.
– Innovation Experience: A demonstration of the world’s fastest bin picking solution in action, featuring the Cognibotics HKM1800 paired with Fizyr’s vision for picking and placing, tuned for efficient pathing, and intelligent gripper changing.
– Food Automation: A fully functional automated cell with two coordinated Yaskawa arms picking and placing sachets to complete a consumer salad kit for grocery, as deployed by Van Wees Walwijk with support from Alpha Robotica.
– Spotlight on Lighting: Using Yaskawa’s trailer unloading as an example, this demonstration will showcase the impact of lighting on vision configuration and setup. It will also highlight how Fizyr’s advanced vision AI can adapt to different industrial settings and changes in visibility.
– Partner Experience: Developed in close cooperation with Dero Groep and Yaskawa, this demonstration will feature a parcel singulation system that utilizes Fizyr’s vision AI for precise pick and place operations in high-volume and highly variable package processing.
– How to Train your Network: A behind-the-scenes look at vision data processing, including a discussion on annotation and how AI works with images to see and understand items for automation. This will also cover how Fizyr’s vision systems can be trained quickly and effectively.
Conveniently located just one hour away from Parcel + Post Expo 2025 in Amsterdam, the Fizyr Robotics & Automation Conference offers a tailored experience for those looking to gain a deeper understanding of how vision AI unlocks advanced robotic automation.
