Manchester Airport Launches Fourth Series of Official Podcast
Manchester Airport’s official podcast, Manchester: Your Airport, MAN, is back for its fourth series. The popular podcast, which initially launched in 2023, takes listeners behind the scenes of the UK’s third largest airport and explores a variety of topics related to the aviation industry.
Hosted by Hywel Evans, a well-known radio host and travel enthusiast, and Adam Jupp, the airport’s Communications Director, the podcast has gained a loyal following with over 10,000 listeners tuning in. In this new series, the duo will cover a range of topics including the launch of new routes, the expansion project of Terminal 2, and the airport’s busiest summer yet.
The first episode of the series gives listeners a sneak peek into the behind-the-scenes preparations for the launch of IndiGo’s direct route between Manchester and Mumbai earlier this summer. This will be followed by five more episodes, including a preview of the completed Terminal 2 as part of the airport’s ongoing transformation project, a Q&A session with the airport’s leadership team, and an episode sharing travel tips and hidden gems for popular leisure destinations.
Hywel Evans, co-host of the podcast, expressed his excitement for the new series, saying, “Being ‘backstage’ at the airport is truly fascinating.
