Teresa Cameron has been appointed as the Group CEO of Clear Junction.

Clear Junction Announces New Group CEO and Executive Chair in Leadership Evolution

Clear Junction, a global provider of cross-border payments and banking services infrastructure, has announced the appointment of Teresa Cameron as the new Group Chief Executive Officer. The move is reflective of the company’s rapid growth and marks a natural progression in its leadership and governance.

Founder and former CEO, Dima Kats, will now focus on his role as Group Executive Chair, as the company formalizes its first full Board. With the new Group structure in place, Dima will shift his focus to shaping long-term strategy at the Board level, while Teresa and the senior management team, including Nina Papazyan, Chief Product and Banking Relationships Officer, and Denis Kalyapin, Chief Growth Officer, will take on day-to-day leadership of the business. These executive appointments were made earlier this year.

Teresa, who previously served as the Group CFO, brings over four years of experience with Clear Junction to her new role. With a successful track record and extensive knowledge of the business, she is well-positioned to guide the company’s continued international growth.

Dima Kats, Founder and Group Executive Chair of Clear Junction, commented, “Teresa has played a crucial role in Clear Junction’s exceptional growth over the past four years. Her proven leadership and deep understanding of the business made her the obvious choice for this role. This appointment does not signal a change in direction for us, but rather strengthens our position. By formalizing the way we work together, we can operate with greater focus and effectiveness while continuing to scale globally as a trusted partner for regulated financial institutions.”

With a background in financial services and technology, Teresa has held senior finance roles in trading, brokerage, and foreign exchange firms, as well as leadership positions at not-for-profit media company PRS for Music and student affinity network UNiDAYS. Her diverse experience gives her a unique perspective and has been instrumental in driving Clear Junction’s international expansion.

Teresa Cameron, Group CEO of Clear Junction, said, “I am honored to take on this role and am excited about the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead. Clear Junction has achieved tremendous growth in a short time, and now our focus is on taking the business to the next level. This includes deepening the trust of our clients, expanding our global presence, and creating more opportunities for our employees. With the talented team we have in place, I am confident that we can achieve these goals.”

Since its inception in 2016, Clear Junction has grown into a Group structure with licensed subsidiaries in the UK, Europe, and North America. The company now boasts a team of over 150 professionals and was recently named one of Europe’s fastest-growing companies in the FT 1000 for the second year in a row.

Teresa has handed over her CFO responsibilities to the newly appointed CFO, Dr. Camelia Ion-Byrne, who joined the company in June. Camelia has extensive experience in the financial services and payments industry, having held senior roles at Boku Inc. (LON:BOKU), Paysafe Group, and Optimal Payments. She is well-versed in integration, consolidation, and reporting for multiple acquired entities, as well as supporting M&A and regulatory compliance.
