The Nimsdai Foundation Invites You to Join the Ho Ho Ho Hike Launch for a Charitable Adventure.

A new and exciting holiday tradition is taking place this year in Dorset, UK – the Ho Ho Ho Hike. This 13-mile festive walk through the countryside is organized by the Nimsdai Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting mountain communities around the world. The event, taking place on Saturday, December 13th, 2025, is not only a chance to get in some pre-Christmas exercise, but also an opportunity to spread some holiday cheer and make a positive impact.

Starting at 10am from St Cuthburga’s Church in Wimborne Minster, the Ho Ho Ho Hike promises to be a jolly and fun-filled event for all participants. The trek will take walkers through the beautiful Dorset countryside, providing a chance to enjoy the winter scenery and burn off a few calories before indulging in some holiday treats.

Participants can expect to be greeted with mulled wine (or a non-alcoholic option) and a mince pie (or two!) at the finish line, located at The Rising Sun Inn on East Street in Wimborne. This cozy pub, also known as “Base Camp,” will serve as the perfect spot to warm up and share some laughs after the trek.

Entry for the Ho Ho Ho Hike is £15, which includes a donation to the Nimsdai Foundation, as well as the tasty treats and beverages mentioned above. The funds raised from this event will go towards supporting the foundation’s mountain community projects in 2026, making a positive impact on the lives of those in need.

Participants are encouraged to get into the holiday spirit by dressing up in festive attire, whether it be as elves, reindeer, or simply in their best (or worst) Christmas jumpers. This is a chance to spread some joy and bring some holiday magic to the countryside.

So, whether you celebrate Christmas, Yule, Kwanzaa, or Hanukkah, the Nimsdai Foundation invites you to join them for the first ever Ho Ho Ho Hike. Don’t miss this opportunity to jingle all the way for a great cause and make 2026 a wonderful year for mountain communities.
