My LifeJars, a company focused on helping people organize their lives and preserve their memories, is launching a new initiative to assist individuals in capturing their life stories. The inaugural Life Story Workshop Retreat will take place on November 28th, 2025 at the historic Litton Mill in the Peak District of Derbyshire.
Under the leadership of My LifeJars founder, Suke Ridler, the retreat will feature a weekend of immersive experiences designed to help participants write, tell, and capture their life stories with confidence and heart. The retreat is limited to just eight participants, ensuring an intimate and personalized experience.
Wellbeing writer and journalling coach Anna Woolliscroft will join Ridler in providing gentle writing guidance, storytelling coaching, and hands-on digital memory capture. The retreat will also include creative sessions, local walks, delicious meals, and a filmed storytelling segment to create a moving keepsake for future generations.
Ridler, who was inspired to start My LifeJars after a near-death experience, believes that the retreat is about more than just writing. “It’s about reflection, connection, and our life,” she says. “We help people bring their memories to life through words, photos, and even video, so their story, voice, and wisdom live on.”
This retreat is part of My LifeJars’ mission to help people become Life Ready, blending practical planning with emotional storytelling. The company’s digital platform and patented encrypted online vault securely store vital documents, passwords, wishes, and precious memories, ensuring peace of mind and life preservation.
The Life Story Workshop Retreat is just one of the many services offered by My LifeJars to help people organize their lives and preserve their memories. With the launch of this new initiative, those who have always dreamed of writing their life story can now begin that journey with the support and guidance of experts.
