London, UK – Hundreds of talented musicians from all over the UK are set to come together for a spectacular outdoor Christmas carol concert on Saturday, December 13th. The Big Christmas Wind Orchestra and Choir, held at Kings Cross, is open to all and promises to be a joyous celebration of carols and festive music.
The event, now in its 14th year, has seen a steady increase in participation from just a handful of friends to over 500 musicians from all over the world. The event’s co-ordinator, Adam Funnell, expresses his excitement for the event, stating “our Christmas events are a highlight of the festive season for many performers, with well-known carols and music performed at an unbelievable scale.”
The programme for the event includes traditional carols such as “O Come All Ye Faithful” and “Hark the Herald Angels Sing,” as well as Christmas pop classics, orchestral favorites, and special arrangements. Musicians of all levels are invited to join in, either with their wind, brass, or percussion instruments, or simply by lending their voices to the choir. The event is free of charge and offers something for everyone.
The concert will take place in the iconic Kings Cross, providing a stunning backdrop to the festive event. With the Christmas markets, shops, and restaurants, as well as special winter activities, there will be plenty to see and do for both performers and audience members.

The event is open to all, regardless of experience or skill level, and will be led by expert professional musical directors.
