More than 200 investors support the world’s only foldable smart helmet as Woolf Helmets surpasses its funding goal.

Woolf Helmets, a London-based company, has successfully raised 100% of its £450,000 fundraising target from over 200 investors on Seedrs/Republic Europe. The campaign has now entered the overfunding stage and is expected to close at £1 million, based on its current success.

The company’s flagship product is the world’s first foldable smart helmet, featuring automatic hands-free turn technology and patented Energy Reduction Technology® (ERT) to protect against traumatic brain injuries. The helmet is also designed to be convertible for use in snow sports.

Despite millions of people using hire bikes and e-scooters every day, helmet use remains critically low due to their bulkiness and inconvenience. Woolf, whose life was saved by a helmet after a serious cycling accident, has dedicated years to overcoming this barrier. The Woolf Helmet is his latest innovation, which seamlessly blends portability, advanced safety technology, and smart features.

But the helmet’s portability is just the beginning. It also boasts innovative features such as hands-free indicators activated by simple head movements, motion-sensitive brake lights, and crash detection and emergency alerts via the Woolf Helmets app. It also includes patented Energy Reduction Technology (ERT®) to mitigate rotational forces and lower traumatic brain injury risks, instant emergency service and emergency contact notifications, and a flat-folding design for easy portability that can convert for snow sports usage.
