Dance Yourself Fit™, a popular dance fitness program, has announced the premiere of its highly anticipated documentary, “The Dance Yourself Fit™ Effect.” The premiere will take place on Monday, November 24, 2025 at the Odeon Cinema in Naas, County Kildare, Ireland. The event will bring together members, teachers, and contributors of the Dance Yourself Fit™ community for an exclusive viewing of the film, which showcases the powerful impact of dance, community, and wellbeing.
The documentary, produced by Dance Yourself Fit™ in partnership with Giant Studios and post-production by Spot On Productions, tells the stories of members and teachers who have been transformed by the program. From physical, mental, and emotional changes to renewed confidence, improved energy, and meaningful friendships, the film highlights the belief that “movement is medicine” and dance can create profound, real-life change.
Founder of Dance Yourself Fit™, Niall Newman, explains the purpose behind the documentary, stating, “I often speak about the impact Dance Yourself Fit has made on many people’s lives, but I felt it would be even more important to show it. That is the purpose of this documentary – to inspire and motivate others to enjoy all the benefits dancing has to offer.”
The documentary is directed and produced by Kamal Ibrahim of Giant Studios, who shares his experience working with the program, saying, “DYF is more than a dance community…it’s hard to describe the beauty and authenticity of the work they do.” Associate producer Filipe Soldi and post-production lead Grace Cotter also bring their expertise to the film, which explores themes of well-being, resilience, discipline, identity, and the collective power of community.
The invite-only premiere will be followed by an exclusive afterparty to celebrate the documentary and the people who helped bring it to life.
