HDUK Retains ISO 27001 Accreditation and Advances to ISO 27001:2022 in Strengthened Security Commitment

HDUK has announced the successful renewal of its ISO 27001 certification and confirmed its progression from ISO 27001:2013 to the latest ISO 27001:2022 framework, marking a significant enhancement in its approach to information security.

This development demonstrates the company’s dedication to protecting customer data, improving risk management processes and meeting the highest modern security standards across its services.

“Maintaining ISO 27001 and upgrading to the 2022 standard reinforces what our clients already know — protecting their information is central to everything we do,” said Darren Smith, Chief Technical Officer at HDUK. “The updated standard strengthens areas such as cloud security and supply chain risk, and this transition highlights our dedication to continuous improvement and best-in-class practices.”

The ISO 27001:2022 standard delivers strengthened guidance for risk assessment, data protection and the implementation of contemporary security controls. HDUK’s transition involved a thorough audit of its operational procedures, technical measures and organisational policies to ensure full alignment with the revised criteria.

“Our clients entrust us with their most valuable asset, and that’s their data,” added Matthew Healey, CEO of HDUK. “This milestone reflects our proactive approach to security and our commitment to maintaining the highest levels of trust and compliance.”

The achievement reinforces HDUK’s People. Proactive. Protection. approach, ensuring that every technology solution prioritises security assurance and long-term client confidence.
