Wiltshire musicians rally to support frontline causes with the power of music, from Live Aid to Animal Aid.

On Tuesday, 2 December 2025, the world was captivated by the famous Live Aid concert, which showed the incredible power of music to unite millions and raise awareness for global causes. Now, forty years later, musicians are once again stepping forward to use their talents for the greater good.

On 8th January 2026, the Wiltshire-based band ‘Littlemen’ will take the stage at Komedia Bath for a special one-night-only benefit concert. The event, supported by Life In Mono and The Pinkertons, will raise funds for International Animal Rescue (IAR), an organization dedicated to protecting animals from suffering and extinction around the world.

Littlemen, known for their emotive lyrics and powerful sound, will be returning to the stage with a renewed purpose and a new lineup. Lead vocalist Nick Allen, who has been with the band since the beginning, will be joined by drummer and producer Rob Brian (known for his work with Peter Gabriel and Siouxsie Sioux), keyboardist Mark Jones, lead and rhythm guitarist Zac Ware, bassist Flash Gordan, and backing and lead vocalist Jo Nye.

Talking about the event, Nick Allen said, “Live Aid showed us the incredible impact music can have in bringing people together for a good cause. Now, forty years on, we are using that same spirit to raise awareness and funds for another urgent cause – the protection of animals who cannot speak for themselves. We hope this concert will make a real difference in the fight against animal suffering.”

IAR’s work goes beyond just rescuing animals from suffering. They also rehabilitate and release them back into the wild while working to protect their natural habitats. This includes rescuing bears in India and Armenia, rehabilitating orangutans and other primates in Indonesia, and caring for injured howler monkeys in Costa Rica. Whenever possible, wildlife is rehabilitated and released back into the wild, and for those who cannot be returned, sanctuary care is provided. This work is essential in supporting and preserving endangered species.

Joining Littlemen on stage will be Life In Mono and The Pinkertons, who have all generously donated their time and talents for this worthy cause.

Nick Allen expressed his excitement about the event, saying, “Komedia is one of my favorite live venues, and I am honored to share the stage with such talented artists for this cause. Music has always been a powerful tool for connection and uplifting, and we hope this event will do both.”

Jeanette Campbell, Community Fundraising Manager at IAR, shared her gratitude for the support of Littlemen and all those involved in the concert, saying, “This concert is a celebration of music’s ability to bring about real change. We are incredibly grateful for the support of Littlemen and everyone involved in this event, who have generously donated their time to help raise awareness and funds for IAR while providing an unforgettable night of performances.”

Tickets for the concert, which will take place at Komedia Bath, can be purchased through their website or by calling the box office. Don’t miss out on a night of incredible music while supporting a worthy cause. Together, we can make a difference in the fight against animal suffering.
