Plan B Logistics has achieved national recognition, with the Buckinghamshire-based company finishing 2025 ranked among the UK’s top delivery and courier firms.
Launched just five years ago, the independent logistics business has climbed rapidly and is now listed by Trustpilot as the sixth best courier and sixth best delivery service in the country.
The ranking highlights the firm’s strong performance, customer trust and commitment to service excellence.
Founder Don Morley started Plan B Logistics in 2020 after being made redundant during the COVID-19 pandemic, turning an unexpected setback into a successful enterprise.
The company’s name was born from a conversation with his mother. “I lost my job during COVID like so many, and I spoke to my mother, and she simply said to me ‘Time for Plan B’ and that is where it all started,” said Don.
Its maroon, light blue and white branding reflects Don’s family heritage, with maroon symbolising his grandfather’s service as a paratrooper and blue representing his adoptive parents’ time in the RAF.
Since launching, the business has grown to become Buckinghamshire’s leading independent logistics specialist, building its reputation largely through word of mouth.
“I am really proud of where we are. I have not had to advertise for two years – everything comes from referrals.”
