Lawcomm Solicitors’ support welcomed by Age Concern Hampshire

Age Concern Hampshire, a charity dedicated to supporting older people in Hampshire, has received a generous donation from Lawcomm Solicitors, which helped make Christmas celebrations possible for hundreds of older people in the county.

On Wednesday, December 17th, members of the Lawcomm team volunteered their time at Lockswood Care and Wellbeing Centre, joining clients and staff to support the Christmas lunch and participate in festive activities. The partnership between Age Concern Hampshire and Lawcomm not only included volunteering on the day but also financial support to provide Christmas gifts, food, and entertainment at all four of the charity’s Care and Wellbeing Centres. This partnership has made a significant impact in creating a warm and joyful atmosphere for older people during a time that can be particularly isolating.

The Care and Wellbeing Centres of Age Concern Hampshire provide essential support to older people in Hampshire, including those living with dementia. These centres help to reduce loneliness, foster social connection, and promote overall wellbeing throughout the year.

Brogan Rehill, Head of Fundraising and Volunteer Services at Age Concern Hampshire, expressed gratitude for the support from Lawcomm Solicitors, stating, “Partnerships like this make a genuine difference to our clients and help us continue delivering vital services at a time when demand is higher than ever.”
