The British Wheel of Yoga will be hosting an Autumn Festival of Yoga.

The British Wheel of Yoga (BWY) is hosting a yoga festival in Southampton on Saturday 7 October, 2023. Renowned teachers, including eight-time author Liz Lark and Andrew Wrenn of Ekhart Yoga, will be leading eight sessions of different yoga styles, giving people the chance to explore the effects of practice. In addition, there will be a marketplace with yoga goods and the opportunity to explore The Gregg School’s 23 acres of landscaped grounds.

Diana O’Reilly, BWY Chair commented: “This festival provides you with a wonderful opportunity to take a moment for self-reflection after the hectic summer months. It is a chance to explore yoga styles, connect with like-minded people, and connect to nature. It’s going to be a nurturing space for exploration, growth, and rejuvenation, allowing people to embrace greater health and wellbeing.”

Earlybird tickets are available for BWY members at £44 and £55 for non-members, with the rate rising by 25% after Saturday 26 August. Additionally, volunteers will be offered half-price tickets in exchange for help during the festival.

Established in 1965, BWY is recognised as the National Governing Body for Yoga by Sport England and Sport Wales and aims to promote greater understanding of yoga and its safe practice.
