FUJI EUROPE CORPORATION Showcases Automation Solutions at “Southern Manufacturing & Electronics” in Farnborough

Kelsterbach, January 10th, 2024 – Automation is revolutionizing the PCB manufacturing process, even in traditionally manual processes such as THT production. FUJI EUROPE CORPORATION, a leading provider of placement machines, introduces their sFAB-D and AIMEX IIIc machines at the upcoming “Southern Manufacturing & Electronics” show in Farnborough, UK, from February 6-8, 2024.

The AIMEX IIIc all-in-one placement machine is designed to meet the increasing demands of high-mix or variable-mix and variable-volume production. “Speed and flexibility are among the main reasons why many of our customers are turning to automation, even in areas that have been managed manually for decades,” says Martin Rennie, Branch Manager UK at FUJI EUROPE CORPORATION GmbH.

The AIMEX IIIc machine supports all types of production and easily adapts to changes in package shapes and any errors that may occur. It also features several test functions to prevent defects and ensure high quality. The use of pictograms makes operation extremely simple, reducing time and labor costs.

In addition to the AIMEX IIIc, FUJI is also showcasing their sFAB-D machine at the “Southern Manufacturing & Electronics” show. This platform automates THT (Through-Hole Technology) placement processes, significantly increasing efficiency while maintaining high precision. The sFAB-D is capable of handling a variety of part sizes, shapes, and delivery types, from leaded components to large special components such as transformers.

Through-hole technology is a labor-intensive method for manufacturing PCBs, as components are manually inserted and soldered onto the board. Vasilii Afanasev, sFAB Manager at FUJI EUROPE CORPORATION GmbH, explains: “Automating the THT board placement process provides an alternative to manual labor, making the placement workstations more effective and ensuring quality. In today’s competitive market, automation is essential for maintaining high levels of efficiency and competitiveness.”

Attendees can visit FUJI at stand L80 at the “Southern Manufacturing & Electronics” show to see both placement machines in action and learn more about their capabilities.
