Yanfeng and Trinseo Collaborate to Develop Circular Automotive Interior Materials
Neuss, Germany, and Pfaeffikon, Switzerland – 16 May 2024. Yanfeng, a leading global automotive supplier, and Trinseo, a specialty material solutions provider, have announced a collaboration to develop circular automotive interior materials. This partnership will focus on designing and delivering interior materials that meet the 2030 End-of-life-vehicle requirements and OEMs’ ambitions for the circular economy targets.
The joint efforts of Yanfeng and Trinseo aim to accelerate the market launch of circular materials for automotive interiors. The partnership will concentrate on advanced mechanical recycling and dissolution process technology. The two companies will work together to develop, produce, and commercialize circular materials for future automotive applications.
