Rhodes’ interest in social housing began during her time at Sovereign Housing Group, where she led the corporate finance function. She currently runs a small specialist consultancy in the sector, utilizing her expertise in governance, treasury, and corporate finance. In addition to her professional experience, Rhodes has also served as a trustee for various organizations, including Spectrum Housing and the Pfizer Group pension scheme.
In her new role, Rhodes will be responsible for leading Coastline’s strategic plan, which covers the period up to 2028 and outlines the charity’s goals and ambitions for the future. She is determined to continue Coastline’s efforts in providing affordable and safe housing for the people of Cornwall, despite the unique challenges faced by the county, such as second home ownership and the impact of tourism on rent prices.
