The incoming orders at HEIDELBERG have recovered due to the success of drupa, resulting in the end of short-time working in June.

Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (HEIDELBERG) has reported a successful showing at the drupa trade fair in DĂĽsseldorf, attracting a high number of customers from around the world and securing orders for their innovative solutions. The result has led to a significant increase in incoming orders at HEIDELBERG, leading to higher production capacity and the end of short-time work at their German sites.

Dr. David Schmedding, Head of Sales and Marketing at HEIDELBERG, expressed his delight at the positive response from customers and staff alike. “HEIDELBERG is a true partner of the printing and packaging industry,” he stated. “The large number of orders placed across all technologies during the trade show emphasizes our customers’ trust in the company as a leading system provider.”

The company’s daily presentations at the trade show focused on numerous innovations in commercial and packaging printing, showcasing the latest technologies and their potential for business growth. HEIDELBERG also highlighted their ability to provide fully integrated solutions for both offset and digital printing, providing maximum flexibility and cost-effectiveness for their customers.

In addition, HEIDELBERG announced a collaboration with Canon to tap into the potential for growth in inkjet printing. The company’s success at the trade show was further reinforced by a number of international sales contracts, including the sale of the first Jetfire 50 to the Schellenberg Group in Switzerland, the purchase of a Versafire LV digital printing system by Solo Druck in Germany, and the order of 15 Speedmaster CX presses by Zhengzhou Shengda in China.

HEIDELBERG also announced the expansion of their product range for the packaging segment, with the new Boardmaster inline flexographic web printing machine now capable of printing on flexible paper for sustainable and cost-effective packaging solutions.
