The National Young Authors’ Fair UK Comes to a Successful Close: A Commemoration of Young Writers and Exceptional Literary Institutions

London, UK – The 2024 edition of the National Young Authors’ Fair UK, a part of the global initiative present in 26+ countries, has successfully concluded with an overwhelming response. The event, which took place on Monday, 16 September, showcased the literary talents of students from across the UK and provided them with the opportunity to publish their very first books. With over 600,000+ young authors participating worldwide, and hundreds of schools taking part, the fair has highlighted the creativity and entrepreneurial spirit of over 15,000 students.

The event was organized by BriBooks, a company founded and led by Ami Dror, who expressed her admiration for the young authors: “It has been an honor to witness so many young authors achieve their dreams of publishing their first books. This experience not only ignites a passion for storytelling but also fosters a lifelong love for reading, writing, and entrepreneurship. We are excited to see these young authors continue to grow and make a positive impact with their stories.”

The National Young Authors’ Fair UK has recognized exceptional student achievements through Jury Award Winners and Best-Selling Authors. The Jury Award Winners are Jaime Alexander for “Aliens Landed On Earth,” Khloe Lo for “Beyond Our Imaginations,” Jake England for “Daniel’s Visit Through Time,” Elin Williams for “Easter the Bunny,” and Darcey S A Edwards for “Gone Rat Gone.” These young authors have shown great promise and creativity in their writing.

The Best-Selling Authors are Skyla van Niekerk for “Sandy’s Adventures – My Family,” Prisha Dhumane for “That Cave on the Beach,” Vikram and Esha for “Banana Man Meets the Dragon,” Haaris Abid for “The Flaming Phoenix,” and Skyla van Niekerk for “Sandy’s Adventures – Day Out.” These young authors have not only impressed the readers but have also shown their potential to become successful writers.

Moreover, the Literary Leadership Award, which celebrates schools that have nurtured young writers, was awarded to Greswold Primary School in West Midlands, Alderbrook School in West Midlands, Queen Katharine Academy in Cambridgeshire, Harrietsham Church of England Primary School in Kent, and Milton Hall Primary School and Nursery in Essex.

The National Young Authors’ Fair UK has provided a platform for students to showcase their talents on a global stage, with the support of their schools and communities. This event has not only encouraged a love for writing and reading but has also empowered young authors to take their first steps towards literary greatness.
