The focus of the 2025 National Allotments Week will be on promoting the connection between allotments and wellbeing.

National Allotments Week 2025 to Focus on Allotments and Wellbeing

London, UK – The National Allotment Society is pleased to announce the theme for this year’s National Allotments Week, taking place from 11-17 August 2025, will be Allotments and Wellbeing. This annual celebration highlights the vital role of allotments in promoting mental, physical, nutritional, and social wellbeing by strengthening community ties and enhancing overall health.

The National Allotment Society (NAS) is a leading national organization dedicated to upholding the interests and rights of the allotment community across the UK. Through partnerships with government at both national and local levels, as well as other organizations and landlords, the NAS works to provide, promote, and preserve allotments for all.

As part of this year’s National Allotments Week, the NAS will be launching a nationwide survey open to all allotmenteers. The survey aims to explore the specific wellbeing benefits of allotments and gather key demographic insights. The results will be revealed during National Allotments Week, providing an exclusive look into the experiences and perspectives of those who tend to these cherished green spaces.

“We are thrilled to be focusing on the important topic of allotments and wellbeing for this year’s National Allotments Week,” said Charlotte Watts, Marketing Coordinator at the National Allotment Society. “We believe that by showcasing the physical, mental, and social benefits of allotments, we can highlight their significance to both individuals and communities.”

The survey is open to all allotment holders and the NAS encourages everyone to participate and share their views. The findings will provide valuable insights into the personal and social benefits of allotments, helping to raise awareness of their importance.
