North Macedonia Becomes New Favorite Destination for RSD Group Guests in 2025
Towcester – The beautiful destination of North Macedonia is set to become a valuable addition to the RSD travel assortment as approximately 35,000 guests from the RSD Group, including RSD Travel Ltd., are expected to visit the country this year. To solidify this partnership, Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski of North Macedonia recently met with the owner of Funk-Holding, Christian Funk.
Horst Zsifkovits, the Managing Director of RSD Deutschland / Germany, has personally visited the Balkans and North Macedonia and was impressed by the friendly people and the not-yet-overcrowded tourist attractions. He particularly noted the impressive Orthodox churches and the city of Ohrid. The extensive program offered by RSD Travel in North Macedonia has already been well received.
During his visit to North Macedonia, Prime Minister Mickoski expressed his pleasure and optimism for the increased cooperation with the RSD Group in the coming year. “North Macedonia has many sights to be proud of,” stated Mickoski.
The Prime Minister also announced that starting in February 2025, a daily flight from Germany, France, and Great Britain will bring guests from the RSD Group to his country. This is expected to increase the number of overnight stays by up to 15 percent, solely from the RSD Group. Christian Funk expressed his gratitude for the new opportunities for cooperation and mentioned that RSD Group guests will visit North Macedonia during the off-peak season, specifically for culturally-focused study trips.
