Kingston Women’s Hub and Vistry Housing are proud to present Silent No More, an event dedicated to raising awareness and taking action against Gender-Based Violence. The event will take place on Saturday, 8th March 2025, in honor of International Women’s Day.
Silent No More will feature a powerful keynote speaker, Nina Aouilk, who is an honour killing survivor, speaker, and advocate. Nina will share her personal journey and insights on combatting honour-based and gender-based violence. Her story of resilience and determination has inspired many around the world to challenge harmful traditions and support those affected by abuse.
The event, hosted by Kingston Women’s Hub and Vistry Housing, aims to bring together survivors, advocates, community members, and leaders to stand united against Gender-Based Violence. It is an important conversation that needs to be amplified, and we invite you to join us in this effort.
Ahead of the event, we would like to offer the opportunity for interviews with Nina Aouilk. We would also be honored if you could attend the event on International Women’s Day, Saturday 8th March, 2025.
For further information, to arrange an interview, and/or attend the event, please contact Neeraja Jyothikumar, Richmond Women’s Hub Coordinator & Minority Communities Outreach Worker, at neeraja.j@voh.org.uk.
