Mitie Group Acquires Argus Fire, Enhancing Fire Safety Offering and Expanding Presence in UK Market
London, UK – Tuesday 22 April, 2025 – Mitie Group, the leading technology-led Facilities Transformation company in the UK, has announced the acquisition of Argus Fire, an engineering-led fire systems business with over 40 years of experience in the design, installation, servicing, and maintenance of active fire protection, detection, and alarm systems. The deal was advised by Headpoint, a specialist corporate finance firm.
Argus Fire will join Mitie’s Fire and Security business, strengthening their existing fire safety offering and expanding their presence in the high-growth, high-margin c.£3 billion p.a. UK fire and security market. The acquisition of Argus Fire follows Mitie’s previous acquisitions of GBE Converge and RHI Industrials, cementing their position as a leading provider in the industry.
Headquartered in Stourbridge, West Midlands, Argus Fire has a broad customer base and long-standing relationships across a variety of sectors, including education, healthcare, logistics & industrial warehousing, retail, construction, and transport & aviation. The company’s 200-strong team, led by an experienced senior management team with over 100 years of collective experience in the fire protection industry, will be joining Mitie’s Fire and Security business.
