A world-first musical proposal has inspired a single and London premiere.

Neurology residents and talented musicians Christina Teenz Tan and Ron Danziger have a love story that has spanned a decade of shared work in music, science, and medicine, and now their romance has reached new heights with a world-first proposal at the iconic Abbey Road Studio One.

The couple’s relationship began in medical school and has been a lifelong journey of creativity. Recently, during the recording of their co-written piece “Pie-in-the-Sky,” Danziger proposed to Tan surrounded by the full 78-member Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and conductor Robert Ziegler. This historic moment marked the first marriage proposal to take place at the legendary studio.

Their award-winning song “Timeless” will be performed at the Summer Music in City Churches Festival on June 19, 2025, at St Giles Church. The couple will also walk down the aisle to the song on June 14, 2025, at the Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles.

“Timeless” will also be released as a new single on June 27, 2025, on Signum Records. The track features Britain’s Got Talent star and global voice Tom Ball, accompanied by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and London Voices Choir, conducted by Robert Zeigler. Ball, who recently celebrated a Top 5 UK album and became a first-time father after a widely documented IVF journey, boldly enters the classical crossover world with this career-defining single.

The song has already won 40 international awards for excellence in music and artistic direction, including Best Lyrics at the International Music Video Awards.

Composer Ron Danziger expressed his excitement about the song, stating, “Timeless captures the essence of our story – one of deep connection across worlds of science and music. To celebrate our wedding with this piece feels like coming full circle.”

Songwriter Christina Teenz Tan agreed, adding, “Writing the lyrics to Timeless was a way of capturing how I saw our journey then. Hearing it now – fully realized with an orchestra, and sung on stage – it feels like our love set to music.”

“Timeless” was composed by Danziger with lyrics by Tan, arranged by Manu Martin, and co-produced by Susan Lim and Martin. The track was mastered by Greg Calbi and Steve Fallone – two of the industry’s most respected engineers with a combined 12 Grammy Awards, having worked with top artists such as Tony Bennett, Lady Gaga, and Taylor Swift.

Fans can hear “Timeless” live in London on June 19 by booking tickets on the Summer Music in City Churches Festival website. The single will also be available for pre-order on Signum Records. Don’t miss your chance to experience this beautiful love story through music.
