YER Group Invests in Munich-Based Recruitment Company AVANTGARDE Experts to Strengthen Position in Sustainable Industries
Munich, May 14th 2024 – The YER Group, an international recruiting company based in the Netherlands, has announced its investment in Munich-based recruitment specialist AVANTGARDE Experts. The move is aimed at strengthening the company’s position in the German market for filling personnel vacancies in sustainable industries such as technology, mobility, and energy.
According to the announcement, YER Group will be acquiring one hundred percent of the shares formerly owned by the parent company AVANTGARDE and private equity company EMH Partners. The partnership between the two companies will enable them to join forces and expand their reach in the international job market.
AVANTGARDE Experts, which started as a recruitment agency for events in 2007, has become one of the leading companies in Germany for filling academic roles in the mobility and tech sector. With a team of 1,200 employees, the company provides staffing solutions for automotive manufacturers and suppliers, OEMs, and industrial and digital groups across Germany. In 2023, AVANTGARDE Experts generated a revenue of almost €100 million.
The YER Group, which reported a record revenue of almost €400 million in 2023 and has a workforce of nearly 4,000 employees in the Netherlands, Belgium, and the USA, will gain significant access to the German market through this investment. This is the second investment by the YER Group in a German personnel service provider this year, with a focus on the energy sector. This strategic partnership will allow the company to further expand its presence in the MINT (mathematics, information technology, natural sciences, and technology) sector.

The terms of the transaction have not been disclosed, and the deal is subject to customary regulatory approvals.
