Bearded Fishermen Release New Charity Single to Support Mental Health and Suicide Prevention

Bearded Fishermen, a UK-based mental health charity, have released their first chart entry single, “Don’t Be Silent Tonight”, in support of their suicide prevention and mental health support services.

Produced in conjunction with SoundLINCS and the students of University of Lincoln, the song was written and sung by Cat Winter with the help of local musicians and the university choir.

The Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the charity, Rick Roberts and Mick Leyland, have expressed their hope that the song will raise awareness of the need for mental health support and be a source of comfort to those feeling lonely during the festive period.

The single is now available to purchase and stream on Amazon, iTunes and Spotify.

“We are really hoping it does well and gets noticed by a lot of people around the world,” said Roberts and Leyland. “We would love people to join in with this and help us to get the song out there.”
