BFRS Careers Fair Set to be the Largest Yet as British Forces Resettlement Services Transform Futures in Tidworth

The Armed Forces Community is preparing to explore their future career possibilities at the British Forces Resettlement Services (BFRS) National Careers Fair in Tidworth on Thursday 14th September. The event, which takes place at the Tidworth Leisure Centre, is the largest of its kind aimed at connecting military Service-Leavers with civilian careers.

This flagship event in its 12th year is committed to helping the remarkable transition from military life to civilian careers. With over 100 exhibitors from various sectors, including defence, construction, healthcare, technology and beyond, attendees will have unparalleled access to organizations actively seeking the unique skillsets honed in the military.

In addition to the wide range of career opportunities, the event offers expert HR teams, many with ex-military backgrounds, to address the specific challenges military personnel might encounter while transitioning. Renowned career coaches and mentors will also be on hand to share insights on translating military experience into tangible career assets.

The event is sponsored by AIS Survivex, part of the 3t Energy Group, who provide exemplary training in the wind, offshore, construction and energy sectors.

Harry Dean, founder and CEO of BFRS, commented: “The Tidworth event is by far the largest and most successful of our annual event programme, it provides the Armed Forces Community access to over 100 exhibitors who represent a wide range of commercial sectors, they not only offer employment opportunities/training/support, but importantly many are able to offer advice from their own military to civilian transitional experiences.”

BFRS will also be hosting a CV writing and interview skills workshop on Wednesday 13th September, the day before the event, providing attendees with the necessary tools for a successful transition into civilian careers.
