The UK’s Top Wellness Search Trends Revealed in the Bigvits Wellbeing Report 2025
As the summer weather in the UK proves to be wet and windy, a new report has revealed that Brits are shifting their focus from beach-body diets to long-term health habits such as better sleep, improved digestion, and stress relief.
The inaugural Bigvits Wellbeing Report 2025 analyzed millions of Google searches across the UK and found a significant increase in searches for practical, foundational health concerns. These include blackout blinds, probiotics, collagen, and creatine.
One of the key findings of the report is that Cardiff is the UK’s most tired city, with 12.8% of its population searching for sleep help. This is followed by Belfast (6.6%), Glasgow (5.7%), Bristol (5.6%), and Leeds (4.9%). There has been a 900% year-on-year increase in searches for “can’t sleep too hot” and “why does hot weather make me tired,” indicating a surge in demand for sleep support.
Yorkshire leads in terms of muscle health, with searches for creatine and recovery supplements spiking by 900%. Wales and the West Midlands are hotspots for gut health, driven by an interest in digestive enzymes, probiotics, and microbiome health. Scotland and London are focused on skin and hormonal health, with searches for collagen and CoQ10 soaring.
According to Neha Deol, a Nutritional Therapist at Bigvits, this summer, not all Brits are chasing six-pack abs or quick-fix diets. Instead, they are focusing on optimizing how they sleep, digest, and manage stress, indicating a more grounded shift in health culture.
