Cards For Good Causes, the UK’s largest multi-charity card and gift retailer, is asking for support in their new campaign to bring festive cheer to care home residents. The initiative aims to provide advent calendars to residents in care homes across the country, spreading the joy of the season.
The tradition of opening an advent calendar each morning is a simple but magical act that brings warmth and happiness. With their campaign, Cards For Good Causes invites everyone to donate advent calendars before Monday 25th November, either online or at one of their pop-up shops. These calendars will then be distributed to partner care homes, allowing residents to experience the joy of this tradition and feel the holiday spirit.
In its first year, the campaign will bring advent calendars to care homes in various UK cities, including Basingstoke, Bury St Edmunds, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Leeds, and London. Christine Ansell, CEO of Cards For Good Causes, expresses her excitement for the initiative, stating that their aim is to make Christmas a little brighter for care home residents who may not be able to celebrate with their loved ones. She also mentions their plans to expand the campaign in the future.
There are two ways to donate to the campaign. Supporters can either donate in-store at any Cards For Good Causes pop-up shop across the UK or make an online donation through the charity’s website. All donations must be received by Monday 25th November to ensure timely delivery for the beginning of advent.
According to the charity, every calendar donated will bring a touch of seasonal warmth, providing a meaningful way for the community to connect and give back this Christmas. Cards For Good Causes expresses their gratitude to everyone for their support in spreading joy and making this season extra special.
