Hope Spring, an international development charity based in Herefordshire, have announced the release of five new winter solstice electronic cards, adding to their existing selection of fifty. This is part of the organisation’s fundraising platform Hope Spring charity ecards, which raises money to fund their projects in West Africa.
Temi Odurinde, Trustee and member of the ecard development team, commented: “We were not sure how to go about refreshing our solstice cards, so a member of the team suggested that we should get some of the most iconic winter animals illustrated. We went with her suggestion, and the new illustrator did an excellent job.”
The new winter solstice cards, alongside Christmas ecards, are expected to help Hope Spring achieve their fundraising goal for the last quarter of 2023. This year, they have worked on projects such as building wells and other water-related projects in Sierra Leone and Nigeria, which have benefited thousands of people.
Full details of their work can be found on their website and social media pages. The new cards can be sent for a one-off donation or free of charge by visiting their greetings cards page.
