LoreKeeper, a game master’s assistant, is delighted to announce the launch of its beta version at MCM Comic Con, taking place from October 27th to October 29th at London’s Excel Centre.
This project is a result of a small role-playing group in North London that has been immersed in Dungeons and Dragons since the 1980s. LoreKeeper is a testament to the indie spirit of development in an era dominated by big tech giants.
Founder David Harrison said: “Running games week in and week out for years, I love it! However coming up with new adventures, names, and rules every week was getting close to burnout. I had this idea of an AI character within the game, and then decided to bring that idea to our world to enhance the game. It has all become a bit of a paradox.”
LoreKeeper is a sophisticated tool designed to assist with campaign planning and world-building. The beta version will provide users with a glimpse into the future of table top role-playing games (TTRPGs), including features such as the ability to handle complex rules, provide elements for building expansive game worlds, and interact with live NPCs. The platform streamlines hours of game preparation into minutes, making it an invaluable tool for both new and experienced Dungeon Masters.
Founder David Harrison said: “We’re thrilled to introduce LoreKeeper to the world at Comic Con. I haven’t seen anyone doing what we are doing. I believe we are the first to market. It’s both nerve-wracking and genuinely exciting.”
LoreKeeper is an independent, self-financed company. David Harrison from London is the CEO and has worked in the live music and technology industry for over 25 years. Nathaniel Gibson from Boston Massachusetts is the CTO and has been building news filtering and language model bots for over 20 years. Alastair Kember, Head of Product, has been developing games for over two decades.
Attendees of MCM Comic Con will have the opportunity to interact with the platform, offer valuable feedback, have their ideas illustrated by the artist Callum Carr, and sign up for the service.
Today, LoreKeeper is proud to announce the launch of its beta version at the upcoming MCM Comic Con. This innovative tool is set to revolutionize the table top role-playing game experience for both new and experienced Dungeon Masters.
