“Design Mumbai 2025 line-up revealed in exclusive first look”

Design Mumbai Unveils Exciting Lineup for Second Edition in November

Design Mumbai, the international trade event for design, architecture, and interiors professionals, has announced the first names confirmed for its second edition, set to take place from November 26-29, 2025 at Jio World Garden in Mumbai.

The event, which bridges India’s creative energy with global innovation, will feature a dynamic mix of international and homegrown brands and institutions, building on the success of its debut last year.

With a commitment to delivering high-quality content and facilitating impactful cultural dialogue, Design Mumbai 2025 has firmly established itself as a key B2B event in the design calendar, offering a world-class platform for the hospitality, retail, workplace, and residential sectors.

This year’s edition promises to showcase a curated selection of international and local design stories through a highly curated exhibitor line-up, the Design Mumbai Exchange talks program, exclusive design installations, and industry-focused networking events.

Among the most highly anticipated installations at Design Mumbai 2025 is the American Hardwood Export Council (AHEC) showcase, featuring a landmark collaboration with Indian furniture manufacturer Phantom Hands. This collaboration, titled “Refractions,” presents a diverse collection of works developed through a series of high-profile design collaborations. The AHEC stand will bring together voices from around the world, including Melbourne-based architect and maker Adam Markowitz, and will spotlight the sustainable use of American cherry, maple, and red oak in a range of sculptural furniture pieces.

Other global standouts include Set Up Co., a Japanese brand showcasing minimalist aesthetics through a collaborative stand featuring two other Japanese brands, Kakuhan and Reset. French mother and daughter duo Dorothée Giey and Pia Pijselman of Lux Temporis will also be present with their kinetic lighting creations that merge mechatronics and nature.

On the local front, India’s design talent will be well represented with names such as Karkhana, Chacko, and Hearty Muse Atelier, all offering unique and innovative designs. Other noteworthy participants include Sarvatva, a Chandigarh-based studio that blends ancient Indian philosophies with contemporary aesthetics, and Hobo Houz, founded by textile designer and pen-and-ink artist Varsha Patra, offering contemporary lifestyle pieces that celebrate Indian textile heritage.

The event will also welcome back several India-based exhibitors from its inaugural edition, including Stonelite, AKFD Studio, Rvardé, Shailesh Rajput Studio, FAZO Project, and Lila.

Further announcements on exhibitors, speakers, and special programming are yet to come. Tickets are now available for purchase on the Design Mumbai website.
