DoorDash, the popular food delivery app, is now expanding its services to offer in-app restaurant reservations. Starting today, October 23, 2025, customers in Miami will be able to book tables at their favorite local restaurants directly through the DoorDash app. This feature will be rolled out in other cities, including New York City and Las Vegas, in the coming weeks.
According to DoorDash, this new feature aims to make it easier for customers to secure a table at popular restaurants without having to wait in line or deal with long waitlists. The company has partnered with some of the most sought-after restaurants in Miami to offer a variety of dining experiences, including Uchiko’s “Best of Uchi + Uchiko” omakase and CASA NEOS’ “An Ode to Endless Mediterranean Summers.”
“We’re excited to launch DoorDash Reservations and offer our customers the convenience of booking a table at their favorite restaurants directly through our app,” said a spokesperson for DoorDash. “We know that our customers value their time, and we want to make it easier for them to enjoy a night out without the hassle of waiting for a table.”
In addition to providing a convenient way to book reservations, DoorDash is also offering exclusive experiences and rewards for customers who make reservations through the app. These rewards can be redeemed for future DoorDash orders, whether it’s for dinner delivery or groceries.
For a limited time, DoorDash is also offering $10 in credits back for every reservation booked and attended through the app, with DashPass members receiving $12 back in credits. DashPass members also have access to exclusive tables and experiences, extra rewards, and discounted Lyft Black rides to their reservation.
Booking a reservation through the DoorDash app is simple and only takes a few taps. Customers can search for nearby bookable restaurants, filter by date, time, and party size, and easily see key details like cuisine type and location. For DashPass members, there are also exclusive tables available to book at coveted times.
“We want to make it as easy as possible for our customers to enjoy a great dining experience and earn rewards at the same time,” said the spokesperson. “With DoorDash Reservations, we’re giving our customers the best of both worlds – a delicious meal and credits towards their next order.”
To book a reservation, customers can open the DoorDash app, look for the dedicated Reservations icon, search for a restaurant, and confirm their booking. After their meal, they will receive credits in the DoorDash app. This feature is available for both iOS and Android users.
