D’OTTO Fragrances announced the pre-launch of their new literature collection at Harrods.

D’OTTO Fragrances, a leading fragrance house known for its disruptive and boundary-pushing scents, has unveiled its highly anticipated Literature Collection. This bold and fearless olfactory tribute to literature’s rebellious heroines will be available for an exclusive pre-launch at Harrods in London from 1st June to 1st September 2025.

In partnership with Harrods, D’OTTO Fragrances is introducing two new fragrances, 4×2 and 8×1, inspired by the powerful voices of Charlotte Brontë and Emily Brontë. This marks the second collection from D’OTTO, which has previously made waves in the world of perfumery with its unconventional approach to scent creation.

The Literature Collection pays homage to three women who wrote not to entertain, but to challenge societal norms and shake the foundations of their time. “This collection is born from our desire to capture the fire of women who didn’t just write stories—they wrote revolutions,” says Tiziana Terenzi, Artistic Director at D’OTTO. “To launch the Literature Collection with Harrods—an institution that embodies heritage and innovation—is a dream. These fragrances are more than scent; they are spirit bottled.”

4×2, inspired by the courageous Jane Eyre, defies expectations with its floral notes of Lily of the Valley from Lake Como and Mexican Tuberose. The heart of the fragrance features Vanilla Bourbon from Madagascar and Myrrh from Jordan, while the base of Haitian Vanilla, Brazilian Tonka Bean, Australian Sandalwood, and Ambergris embodies Jane’s ultimate act of rebellion: the pursuit of love on her own terms.

8×1, influenced by the windswept passion of Wuthering Heights, captures the wild spirit of the Yorkshire moors. The fragrance opens with top notes of Amalfi Rhubarb, Sicilian Orange, and Sorrento Lemon, followed by a heart of Romagna Chamomile, Italian Magnolia, and Egyptian Cassis. A deep and moody base of Italian Cashmere, Cedarwood from the Atlas Mountains, Australian Sandalwood, and Musks completes this intense ode to eternal, unyielding love.
