EU Motors, a leading Krakow-based manufacturer, announced today that it has successfully integrated a fully autonomous rotor-balancing machine into its production line. This cutting-edge technology will allow the company to produce 100,000 BLDC motors per month by September 2025, doubling their current output.
The new system, which is the first of its kind in Europe, can balance a motor in just 15 seconds without any manual operation. This significantly reduces the balancing time from over 2 minutes, boosting the company’s monthly production from 50,000 to 100,000 units. This milestone is expected to be achieved within the next 30 days.
EU Motors’ CEO, Michael Berger, shared his excitement about this new development, stating, “Balancing rotors is a delicate process that can easily take an operator over 2 minutes per motor, even with computerized stations. We are proud to be the world’s first BLDC motor manufacturer outside of China to utilize a fully autonomous balancing system.”
All EU Motors products are designed, engineered, and manufactured entirely in Poland. The company’s state-of-the-art factory features six autonomous winding stations, as well as automated magnet-assembly, precision balancing, quality-control, and test cells. The motors can also be supplied with specialized coatings for waterproofing, salt-water resistance, and extreme-temperature protection, making them ideal for demanding commercial, industrial, and defense-grade UAV applications.
EU Motors remains on track to achieve a fully autonomous production line by the end of 2025, further reinforcing Europe’s supply-chain resilience for critical drone components. This aligns with the company’s mission to provide next-generation electric propulsion solutions for the rapidly growing UAV and drone sectors.
