From BGT Star to Global Voice – Tom Ball’s ‘Timeless’ New Single, Soars from Abbey Road
London, UK – Friday 30 May, 2025 – After his captivating performances on Britain’s Got Talent and America’s Got Talent, Tom Ball is back with a new single that is set to take the world by storm. The classically trained singer has teamed up with Manu Martin and Susan Lim to produce a cinematic masterpiece titled “Timeless,” featuring the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and London Voices Choir. The single, recorded live at the iconic Abbey Road Studios, will be released on June 27th, 2025.
Tom Ball, who became a first-time father following a widely-documented IVF journey, made his mark on the music industry with a Top 5 UK album in 2024. His debut album, ‘Curtain Call,’ featuring songs penned by Tom, Grammy and Ivor Novello Award-winning songwriters and producers such as Eliot Kennedy and Gary Barlow, achieved an Official UK Charts Top 5 ranking. Tom’s success continued with his show-stopping performances as a runner-up on Britain’s Got Talent in 2022 and guest star performer in 2023. He also made history as the first-ever Group Golden Buzzer finalist on America’s Got Talent: All-Stars ‘Best of the Best’ in 2023.
Now, Tom is set to take the classical crossover world by storm with his bold step into the genre. His highly anticipated second album, Spotlight, will be released on October 10th, 2025, with “Timeless” as the lead single.
“Timeless” is a powerful orchestral ballad that showcases Tom’s unmistakable vocal depth and cinematic range. The 2025 version has been reimagined specifically for Tom, produced by Manu Martin & Susan Lim, conducted by Robert Zeigler, and recorded with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra & London Voices Choir at Abbey Road Studios. The track was mastered by Greg Calbi and Steve Fallone, two of the industry’s most respected engineers with a combined 12 Grammy Awards.
Co-written by Ron Danziger and Christina Teenz Tan, “Timeless” holds a special place in the hearts of the couple, who will be getting married on June 14th, 2025 at the Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles. The song will also be the soundtrack to their walk down the aisle.
Christina Teenz Tan, the lyricist of “Timeless,” describes the song as “a song for the seasons” that encapsulates the preciousness of a bond that transcends time, culture, societies, and the human experience.
The song was originally composed for the ALAN project in 2017, a musical trilogy that includes three major compositions: the Lim Fantasy of Companionship for Piano and Orchestra, the Lim Cosmic Rhapsody, and the Lim Symphony of the Oceans. Susan Lim, the creator and producer of ALAN, says, “having witnessed the evolution of Timeless since its inception in 2016, I am continually amazed by its journey. Like a fine wine, this piece has matured beautifully.” She adds, “the exquisite arrangements by Manu Martin bring this vision to life, and I am thrilled to see it premiered by the talented Tom Ball.”
“Timeless” will be released on June 27th, 2025 and will be available for streaming and download on all major platforms.
