Kildare, Ireland – GP JOULE, a leading integrated energy supplier, has announced its expansion into Ireland with the addition of EPC services. Building on the success of its wind and solar park projects in Ireland, the company is now offering comprehensive services as a general contractor for the construction and installation of ground-mounted PV systems.

With over 15 years of experience in designing, building, and managing solar parks in Germany and abroad, including projects in France, Italy, and North America, GP JOULE has a strong track record in the solar industry. The company is well-equipped to handle challenges such as difficult terrain and co-location of solar with wind farms. With its expansion into Ireland, GP JOULE is excited to work with local clients and share its expertise to support the success of their renewable energy projects.

Leading this expansion is the new country manager for GP JOULE EPC Ireland, Hugh Bannon. He has held senior roles on numerous projects across wind, solar, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), with over 200 MW now in operation. GP JOULE EPC is confident that Bannon’s technical skills and industry expertise will make a positive contribution to Ireland’s renewable energy sector and help the country meet its 2030 renewable electricity targets and broader climate commitments.
