Harvest Today Expands Hydroponic Grow Wall to Drive Global Food Sustainability

Harvest Today, founded by Rick Langille, together with Harvest Today EU entrepreneurs Mark and Michelle Emmott, has announced the expansion of its innovative hydroponic vertical grow wall to cater to both home gardeners and commercial-scale agricultural producers.

The redesigned Indoor Grow Wall offers a durable, scalable, and highly efficient solution for producing healthy, organic food while addressing global challenges linked to food accessibility and sustainability.

Harvest Today EU was established after Rick introduced Mark to his early designs for the “Harvest Wall”, a groundbreaking hydroponic growing system. Recognising its potential to transform global food production, Mark and the team saw an opportunity to develop a solution aimed at tackling food scarcity and sustainability concerns worldwide.

“Launching any new company and working toward success are part and parcel of any start-up,” said Mark. “But I knew the potential was there, and that with the right attitude and teamwork, this could change the way families and communities think about food.”

Following extensive customer feedback, Rick and the Harvest Today team enhanced the product into a modular, leak-proof, and low-maintenance grow wall that remains simple to install and cost-effective. Its popularity surged among home growers, giving families the tools to cultivate fresh, organic produce from the comfort of their homes.

With demand from commercial growers increasing rapidly, the system has been scaled up to accommodate larger agricultural operations while preserving the same efficiency and flexibility that made it successful. Farmers now benefit from greater plant density per cubic metre and more adaptable crop varieties, offering a smarter approach to modern farming practices.

Today, the Indoor Grow Wall provides a sustainable, technology-driven solution that supports global food security and promotes environmentally responsible agriculture. Suitable for small households, urban communities, and vast commercial farms alike, it allows users to grow fresh fruits and vegetables anywhere in the world.

“What started as a small idea has grown into something much bigger,” said Michelle. “The Harvest Wall isn’t just a product, it’s a movement. We’re taking actions to solve a global food security challenge, and this is only the beginning.”
