Hope Spring, the charity ecard platform dedicated to raising funds for the alleviation of water poverty, has announced the release of a new set of six St Patrick’s Day greetings eCards. This cultural Irish event, also known as the feast of Saint Patrick, has become a widespread celebration in both Ireland and the Irish diaspora.
St Patrick’s Day is observed annually on March 17th and is marked with festivities such as singing, dancing, and spending time with loved ones. The holiday is celebrated not only in Ireland but also in countries with a significant Irish population.
In partnership with Ozami, Hope Spring has created a new set of eCards to support their efforts in combating water poverty, a prevalent issue in many developing communities. According to Seun Olonade, the platform manager for Hope Spring, the release of these eCards will greatly contribute to the growth of the fundraising platform. She stated, “We were initially focused on creating eCards for Mother’s Day and had overlooked St Patrick’s Day. Fortunately, we were able to collaborate with our partner, Ozami, to develop a new set of eCards for this holiday.”
Although St Patrick’s Day is not typically associated with sending greeting cards, the few eCards that are sent and the resulting donations make a significant impact on Hope Spring’s water poverty alleviation work.
