Infinigate Signs Agreement with Bugcrowd to Provide Crowdsourced Cybersecurity Solutions to Partners and Cyberskills-Crunched Organisations

Infinigate, the EMEA Value-Added-Distributor (VAD) specialising in cybersecurity, secure networks and secure cloud, has announced a partnership with Bugcrowd, the multi-solution crowdsourced cybersecurity platform. The agreement, initially effective in the UK and Ireland, will provide Infinigate’s partners access to Bugcrowd’s industry-leading solutions and services.

Jason Cowie, VP Global Channel Sales and Strategic Alliances at Bugcrowd, commented: “This agreement is a significant step towards our goal of becoming a ‘channel first’ business globally. It will extend our platform-based services to more organisations, helping them to overcome the impact of the ever-growing cybersecurity skills shortage. Our platform and services will bolster their existing resources and provide access to highly-skilled hackers who can ensure rigorous testing, on demand and on rotation.”

Lewis Dick, Alliances Director at Infinigate, added: “Bugcrowd provides access to expert, CREST-Accredited Penetration Testing as a Service, which is in high demand as the risk profile increases. Our partners can provide their customers with access to the human ingenuity and skill-sets needed to root out vulnerabilities and prevent cyber-attacks.”

Research published by ISC2 in October 2023 suggests that the global cybersecurity workforce gap has reached 4 million professionals. Leveraging the expertise of the hacker community through crowdsourcing is the fastest way to access the full spectrum of cybersecurity skills needed to stay secure.

Bugcrowd is based in San Francisco and supported by Rally Ventures, Costanoa Ventures, Blackbird Ventures, Triangle Peak Partners and others.
