London Economics Appoints Carl Emmerson as Partner in Public Policy Practice

London Economics, one of Europe’s leading policy and economic consultancy practices, is pleased to announce the appointment of Carl Emmerson as a Partner in their Public Policy Practice. Emmerson, who is currently the Deputy Director of the Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS), will be joining the firm’s head office in Somerset House, London, at the start of December.

Emmerson brings with him over three decades of experience in applied research and policy advice in a variety of areas. In his current role at IFS, he has been instrumental in providing independent, rigorous advice on the UK’s public finances, pensions, and fiscal policy. His appointment to London Economics reflects the firm’s commitment to only hiring exceptional economists and meeting the high demand for its services from governments, regulators, and private sector firms in over 80 countries.
