“London Families Delighted by LTCFC’s Mad Hatter’s Tea Party Experience in Wonderland”

London Taxi Drivers’ Charity for Children Hosts 51st Annual Mad Hatter’s Tea Party

London, February 3rd, 2025 – The London Taxi Drivers’ Charity for Children (LTCFC) brought the magic of Wonderland to life at its 51st annual Mad Hatter’s Tea Party. Held on January 19th at the Grosvenor House Hotel, this beloved event welcomed over 600 children, along with their families and carers, for a day filled with whimsy and wonder.

The event featured a diverse range of entertainment that delighted attendees of all ages. From the futuristic appeal of two Robo dogs to the enchanting presence of Star Wars characters and Disney Princesses, the party was a visual and sensory treat. The Band of the Scots Guards added a touch of grandeur with their musical performance.

The children from S.E.N.D. primary schools were treated to a delicious feast, while adults and volunteers enjoyed refreshments generously provided by Wenzel’s the Bakers. The festivities concluded with a visit to Santa’s grotto, where each child received a special LTCFC sensory ‘Louie’ taxi and keepsake bag filled with toys, games, and chocolates.

“We were overwhelmed by the joy and laughter that filled the room,” said Wendy Bell, committee member at LTCFC. “The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party is a cherished tradition that brings together the London community and spreads happiness to the children we support.”

LTCFC extends its heartfelt gratitude to the sponsors, volunteers, and supporters whose contributions made this event possible. Their unwavering support is crucial in helping the charity fulfill its mission of improving the lives of children in London.
