Prestige Offices has officially relaunched its popular podcast, which offers listeners a journey through the fascinating histories of London buildings now serving as modern office space for contemporary businesses.
The podcast originally aired between 2020 and 2023 and took an in-depth look at notable London properties that had unique original uses. Past episodes featured buildings such as vintage dance halls and former tyre company depots, which have since been adapted to accommodate flexible and stylish workspaces.
Edward Lewis, Head of Research at Prestige Offices, said:
“We ran the podcast for two years during the pandemic and very much enjoyed sharing what we learned about London’s rich history through researching the celebrated buildings now offering first-class business space, and the districts that they sit within.”
Titled London’s Best Office Spaces – The Links Between London’s Past and the Modern World, the podcast explores the stories behind renowned sites including the neoclassical Victoria House in Holborn, the Old Bailey, Queen Elizabeth II’s birthplace in Mayfair, a banking hall where the City’s first cheque was issued, and the neighbourhood now defined by The Shard.
This relaunch reflects Prestige Offices’ broader mission to spotlight the links between modern workspaces and the capital’s historical and cultural heritage.
By embracing digital media and historical storytelling, the agency aims to enrich the client experience—helping businesses appreciate not just where they work, but the rich narrative surrounding their space.
Edward Lewis added:
“The research team took a hiatus from producing the podcast series whilst significantly upgrading the website by adding several new properties in numerous locations across London. The by-product of the enrichment exercise has been the discovery of a new bounty of fascinating facts. The team is excited to share these findings through the podcast relaunch.”
